Laura and Nic's Birthday at Disneyland

This is from the restaurant in the Wild West land called The Lucky Nugget that we went to for Laura & Nic's birthday. It was the best of fun with the characters that come right up to the table and the food was delicious! The meal was a buffet type arrangement, you grabbed a plate and then help yourself. There were salad's, hot foods ie. ribs, tacos, chicken etc and an extensive range of desserts including crepes, flans, tarts etc. The restaurant was very clean, as you would expect in DisneyLand. As you can see Xander and Laura became stars and had a go on the stage with the entertainment crew. It's all about the kids, so DisneyLand staff really try to please the children.

Busy days

Well we have been busy busy busy! Our first day here was very quiet - we wandered around Garches - visited the local shops of Garches and let the kids play in the park for a bit. Our second day was on the Champs Elysee and I never realised how much there was to do on one street!!!!!!

After spending a full day out walking Paris we backed it up yesterday with a day at Minature France, a whole park with mini everything. So I can say that I have seen France in full LOL! Today it is pouring rain so we are thinking maybe a day shopping and resting as we are off to Disneyland on Sunday and Lochie is stuffed - he is being good but he is so tired. I will come back later today to post more photos as of course I have already taken hundreds hahaha.

What a wonderful city!!!!!!

Just a quick post today as we are exhusted, today was a huge day! We caught a train from Garches station to Paris - it was a wonderful sight to step off the train and see something so spectacular. Here are a few photos for a quick look at what we seen today.

We are here!

We are here - after a marathon 24hours we have arrived!

The boys were fantastic I was really surprised we could not have asked for better. Lochie had a great time - played his DS watched some movies and TV and slept. Xander did not sleep as much but as per Xander he just trooped it along! Abu Dhabi airport is certainly different - amd OMG how many people were squashed into there at midnight - it was certainly an experience. I was the lucky bunny out of all of us that got pulled over for the metal detector going off - totally freaked me a bit I was taken into a little room to run the scanner over me - guess what dont wear underwire bras in Abu Dhabi cause it sends them off LOL. Yep you guessed it my bra sent off a metal detector!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So whilst I m getting rescanned Jonathon had to get both boys and 4 backpacks off the belt - well what happens he forgot one - lucky 10mins later standing in the bording que for the plan we realise and he runs back and it is still sitting there! Phew that was the bag with Lochie's most prized possession - teddies! So we all made it safe on the plane and finished our marathon trip and landed in Paris on time. So that is about it for now no photos this post cause I need to rest.

19/8/08 - Relax, Rest and explore our local area
20/8/08 - 24/8/08 - Explore Paris
25/8/08 - Disneyland Paris
28/8/08 - London for the day
30/8/08 - Moulin Rouge (maybe!)
2/9/08 - Fly to Rome
3/9/08 - Rome
4/9/08 - Rome
5/9/08 - Afternoon train from Rome to Florence
6/9/08 - Florence
7/9/08 - Florence then fly back to Paris in the evening
8/9/08 - 11/9/08 - Explore and do each day as we decide
12/9/08 - Fly home :( loose a day and arrive back in Sydney 22hours and 50mins later
14/9/08 - We are home
